I really wanted to make it a non-preachy, friendly book which recognises that parents are often more 'expert' than the experts - after all, nobody gets it right 100 per cent of the time, but everyone gets it spot on sometimes... so why not share all those best bits? I'm glad you think this works. And as a soon-to-be Dad, I'd be really interested to hear what you and your family think once you're in at the deep end - maybe you can even share some tips with me for the next book!
